Rural Healthcare Charity

RHC was founded in 2007 by Dr Slim MBENDE after years of inspirations from its own experience of working in rural Congo as Project Co-ordinator. As young doctor doing General Surgery at the University Hospital Centre of Brazzaville-Congo, he was co-ordinating the first HIV Management Project in rural Congo. He used its huge surgical skills to performed elective ceasariens on HIV patients and many more surgical procedures on struggling rural communities.

In the UK he successfully inspired other African graduates to be part of  what was going to be a big movement supporting rural communities in the UK, Congo and DRC.
